From 10am-2pm, Warwick Road’s St Cuthbert with St Matthias Primary School near West Brompton Station groans with shoppers lugging fresh produce to their kitchens. The Earl’s Court Farmers’ Market has happily joined the steady stream of new London markets selling local-only produce.
November sees tasting sessions at our local farmers’ markets on the weekend of 17th/18th November. Turn up to sample, see what pleases your palate, and find out how to order.
At Earl’s Court on 18th November, Picks Organic have , as well as gammon and sausage meat to try; Midgham Farm have whole gammons and fore ribs of beef to order while Astons Bakery and Popina are offering delicious Christmas goodies, including mince pies and Christmas cake. Wild Country will have plenty of seasonal veg and for cheese lovers, Quickes Cheddar will have their usual delicious selection.
The markets will run up to the last weekend before Christmas and then most producers will be back manning the stalls on the first weekend in 2019.
The last 2018 market at Earl’s Court will be: Sunday 23rd December (10-2), and we will be back on Sunday 6th January 2019. The last 2018 dates for South Kensington, Pimlico and Notting Hill, are Saturday 22nd December 2018, returning on Saturday 5th January 2019
